The desert south of Aswan

This entry is part 15 of 16 in the series Egypt 2006

When it comes to deserts, Egypt has a lot to offer. Unfortunately I had no time to really explore any desert region of Egypt. But nevertheless I want to share some of the images I managed to take while travelling in a convoy from Aswan to the temple of Abu Simbel in early morning. Even though this desert is not really famous, it still has its charm, with rolling sand dunes, interesting rock formations and sheer endless plains. So it is really a shame I could not stay longer and do any real photography. Maybe I will return one day to do so, who kows.
